B. From Drivers (when operator creates accounts)

• Driver name
• Mobile number
• Username and password
• Assigned vehicle information

C. From Passengers (when booking)

• Full name
• Mobile number
• Email address (optional)
• Booking details (route, date, seat, fare)
• Payment screenshot (uploaded as proof)
• Passenger category (adult, child, student, senior/PWD)

D. GPS Location Data (from drivers)

• Real-time vehicle location (latitude, longitude)
• Speed and direction
• Trip start and end times

E. Technical Data

• IP address
• Browser type and version
• Device type
• Pages visited on BUSINA

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide platform services (tracking, booking, notifications)
• Verify operator identity and legitimacy
• Enable passenger-operator communication
• Calculate ETAs and route information
• Send notifications about bookings and account status

4. Legal Basis for Processing

A. Between Users

When you book, your information (name, mobile, route, seat) is shared with the operator to complete your booking.

When an operator approves a driver, the driver's name appears to passengers tracking the vehicle.

B. With Service Providers

• Supabase — database hosting
• Vercel — application hosting
• Mapbox — maps and geolocation

C. With Government Authorities

We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or government authority (e.g., NPC, DTI, LTFRB, PNP) for investigation of illegal activity.

D. We Do NOT Sell Your Information

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Data Retention

We retain information for:

• Active accounts — while you use BUSINA
• Bookings — 5 years (BIR compliance)
• GPS data — 90 days (for analytics)
• Deleted accounts — anonymized after 30 days
